John Terry and Joe Cole would give a warm welcome to England team-mate Ashley Cole if he joins Chelsea.

The Arsenal full-back is the latest superstar to come under the radar of manager Jose Mourinho. The Emirates Stadium club are reportedly seeking a fee in the region of 30million for the defender, and talks have taken place between Chelsea and Arsenal.

Chelsea captain Terry would relish the chance to play alongside his international colleague next season. He said: "He is a fantastic player. He is very solid and he's very quick and he is great one-versus-one going forward. He is great as well crossing the ball and everything about him is first class."
