A late goal was not enough for Dunfermline this afternoon. Although Stephen Kenny's team gave 100% they were chasing Celtic throughout this fixture which was played in front of ten thousand fans.

The game itself saw Celtic control the game but Kenny Miller was guilty of missing a number of opportunities in the first half. The match was 0-0 at half time however it was not long into the secound half that Aiden McGeady scored the opener. Celtic went onto capture a second goal and were easing home before Dunfermline scored a goal in the last attack of the game.

Towards the end of the match an incident happened between McGeady and Lennon as they exchanged verbals before Lennon pushed his team mate but before anything else could happen they were broken up by fellow Celtic player Snow.
