Under fire Charlton head coach Les Reed is remaining defiant - and has declared he is the man to turn things around.
The Addicks crashed out of the Carling Cup to Wycombe in midweek, to compound what has already been a disastrous season, with the south-east London club second bottom of the Barclays Premiership. Sections of The Valley faithful let their feelings be known both during and after Tuesday's night's match.
However the 54-year-old former technical director of the FA declared he had "no regrets" about stepping up to the position, saying: "After the game on Tuesday I had a long conversation with the chairman and we discussed what we can do to move forward. We need to get results and also be active in the transfer window."
