Scott Murray marked his 400th appearance for Bristol City with what he described as "the best goal of my life" to clinch a deserved replay for the Robins in the FA Cup fourth round at Middlesbrough on February 13.
It also put one over his former team-mate, Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate, with whom he played at Aston Villa.
Murray, 32, said: "It was good to see Gareth again, even though I remember the only two games we played together at Villa were both defeats. But after the match he was very good about my goal, he said he had never seen me hit one like that with my left foot before. But he was okay, he said well done."
