Paul Ince believes the outdated attitudes of some Premiership chairmen are the prime reason why no black Englishman has managed in the top flight.
The Macclesfield boss won the Coca-Cola League Two manager-of-the-month award after steering the Silkmen off the bottom of the table in a fantastic first month in charge. Ince hopes that eventually the time will come where a black manager is given the chance to shine at the top level.
He said: "Maybe the problem is that many chairmen are in the 65 age bracket and it's a generational thing."
