Robbie Savage has revealed he has no intention of quitting Blackburn for Wigan, despite being consistently linked with a move in the past week.

Former Welsh international colleague Craig Bellamy left Blackburn for Liverpool for 6.5million earlier this summer, but the 31-year-old will not be following his close friend out of the club.

"I am more than happy at Blackburn," Savage told The Sun. "I knew when I left Birmingham this was the right club for me and nothing has changed. It was very flattering for me they showed an interest, but there's a UEFA Cup season ahead and I'm very much looking forward to it."
