Portsmouth insist Kanu will not be sold during the January transfer window.
The Barclays Premiership's joint leading scorer has again been linked with a move to his former club Ajax. The giant forward has been quoted on a Nigerian radio station, saying he is set to leave Fratton Park.
The 30-year-old reportedly said: "It is all about the money. If a better offer comes I will take it. I appreciate Portsmouth and their fans, but I am just waiting for the January transfer window to come. Let's see what will happen."
