Capello happy with new-look Real
Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello praised his young side for a job well done after they downed Real Mallorca 1-0 on Sunday to take a share of the Primera Liga leadership.
Jose Antonio Reyes' free-kick 13 minutes from the end settled the game in Madrid's favour, and saw them join Barcelona and Sevilla on 38 points at the midway stage of the season. However, Barca can go three points clear if they beat Real Betis in their re-arranged game on Wednesday.
"I am very happy with the attitude of the players. The team is in a good condition mentally. To win here is not easy. I am happy." said Capello. "We are happy because we are (joint) first until Wednesday, but this a very difficult league."
