Wigan deny signature of Moscow star

Wigan have strongly refuted suggestions they are to sign Ukraine midfielder Maksym Kalynychenko.
The Latics have been linked with a club-record £6m (?8.9m) move for the Spartak Moscow star as they look to strengthen their squad.
But a Latics spokesman confirmed: "Transfer activity is taking place, but he is not a player we have bid for, or will be bidding for."
