British Clubs have great chance for Euro Glory

In Scotland, Celtic represent Britain in the last sixteen while in England, Liverpool, Chelsea , Arsenal and Manchester United are all through to the knockout stages of the greatest European competition. 

With so many British sides represented at least one of them should make it to the finals. Indeed many of the clubs will be hoping to progress all the way to glory. Only Celtic are novices when it comes to this stage as this is the first time the club has made it through the group stages of the Champions League. 

Chelsea must be the favourites to go all the way in this years campaign however nothing is certain in football as Liverpool Illustrated two years ago in Turkey. Chelsea may have the superstar players and the big bank balance however United, Liverpool and Arsenal are well able to match the London club in any fixture. 

Confidence must be very high among the Englsih clubs as they search for glory in the Champions League this year. In contrast Celtic will find thier quest for European success much harder. The Glasgow club may be top of the SPL but the reality is that they are going to find the next step very hard, although anything is possible and football is a very strange game.
