Hull chairman Adam Pearson maintains the Tigers are doing everything they can to keep hold of Craig Fagan, despite fielding several offers for the striker.
The 24-year-old, who could leave for nothing in the summer when his current contract expires, was not involved in City's 1-1 FA Cup third-round draw with Middlesbrough on Saturday because of a hip problem.
Pearson has confirmed Coca-Cola Championship rivals Derby are among a number of clubs trying to prise the former Birmingham man away from the KC Stadium. But he said: "We don't want him to go anywhere. We've offered him a new contract."
