Gallas felt restricted at Chelsea

William Gallas has claimed he could have become one of the best defenders in the world at Chelsea had he played consistently in one position.
Gallas joined Arsenal last week as his five-year spell at Stamford Bridge ended amid acrimony.
He told the News of the World: "I could have become one of the best players in the world at Chelsea but was never given the chance. I was dragged around to play in different positions just to please the manager."
