The Football Association are unlikely to launch an investigation into claims of racism against Newcastle midfielder Emre unless asked to by Everton.
Reports on Monday alleged the 26-year-old Turkish international made comments during angry exchanges with goalkeeper Tim Howard and defender Joleon Lescott after the Magpies had been awarded a penalty in Saturday's 3-0 Barclays Premiership defeat at Goodison Park.
Referee Dermot Gallagher spoke to the player during the game, but took no further action, and it therefore seems unlikely the incident will be mentioned in his report.
