Mourinho 'happy' with gap
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho praised his side's performance in the goalless draw at Aston Villa and believes Manchester United have failed to take advantage of the Premiership champions' recent poor run of results.
Mourinho insisted he was "happy" being just six points behind the Red Devils after the completion of the festive programme.
Mourinho had been critical of his players following Saturday's 2-2 draw with Fulham but was happy with the way they performed at Villa Park. He said: "I was critical at the weekend but tonight (Tuesday) I am not disappointed. I am happy because we played as a team. We fought as a team and we overcame our difficulties."
