Raul earns Capello praise
Fabio Capello hailed the contribution of Raul after the striker finally ended his Real Madrid goal drought with a brace in Tuesday night's Champions League win over Dynamo Kiev.
The Spain international had failed to score for Real since last October but the long-serving forward had predicted in the build-up to the game that it was only a matter of time before he was back among the goals. And he justified those claims with two goals in the 5-1 thrashing of Dynamo at the Bernabeu as Real picked up their first points in Europe this season.
"Raul has always been valued, not only because of his goals," Capello said. "Raul has done the most important work in the team. He has scored two goals on an important day."
