Falkirk defeat Rangers
Mark Twaddle grabbed the only goal of the game to hand the Bairns the win and leave Gers trailing SPL leaders Celtic by a staggering 16 points.
Rangers were determined to maintain their recent run of results after picking up three SPL wins on the trot against Dunfermline, Hearts and Kilmarnock.
They had also booked a place in the last 32 of the UEFA Cup with a game to spare and are favourites to top Group A.
A 4-0 win over the Bairns earlier in the season - Gers' best victory so far - meant confidence was high ahead of the trip to the Falkirk Stadium.
Rangers boss Paul Le Guen named the same 11 players who defeated Killie last week, while Falkirk were without star striker Anthony Stokes following his red card at Motherwell in their last game.
