Ronaldo back to his best as Madrid win

Ronaldo may have been named on the subsitute bench tonight but it was the Brazilian who changed the game for the title contenders.

 Bilbao opened the scoring following pathetic defeding in the Real backline. Indeed real were forced to make numerous changes in their defence due to injuries for this Sunday evening fixture.

With the two sides heading in to the changing rooms at half time it looked like Bilbao had the potential to cause a real upset. However that all changed when manager Capello brought on David Beckham and Ronlaldo. The former world player of the year looked very fit and indeed seemed to have lost weight since his last outing for Real. 

Ronaldo was all over the pitch and seemed very mobile in contrast to last seasons performances. Consequently he got the goal he deserved to level the game following a through ball he out passed both keeper and defense to claim his first goal of the season. 

As the confidence grew a late goal from Roberto Carlos confirmed the win for the Madrid giants.
