Matthew Kilgallon witnessed at first hand on Monday the fact he will not be the last signing made by Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock in the current transfer window.
After paying 1.75million to Leeds for centre-back Kilgallon, Warnock is hopeful of spending again by the weekend with Preston's David Nugent the number one target - closely followed by David Healy and Emile Mpenza.
Kilgallon, who watched Warnock at work as he waited to seal his own move, said: "While in his office his phone did not stop ringing. It looks like more people could be coming in, so these appear to be exciting times for the club."
