Australian defender Lucas Neill is in talks with Blackburn over a new contract.

Neill, 28, has one year left on his current deal and Rovers manager Mark Hughes is keen to tie the full-back to a longer contract.

The right-back will be in the shop window at the World Cup with Australia and Blackburn are keen to have the deal signed before the summer.
