Ronaldo is keen to win back a place in the Brazil squad - but has accepted his days as a first-team regular may be over.

The Real Madrid striker, currently out of action through injury, became the leading scorer in World Cup finals history at this summer's event in Germany but has fallen out of favour under new boss Dunga. Ronaldo remains hopeful of earning a recall though.

He told the Esporte Espectacular sport show on Rede Globo TV: "I still can be named. If I deserve a place, the coach will call me. I think I will have a great season and I've had a bet with the Real Madrid president and Roberto Carlos that I will score 30 goals this year."
