West Ham United boss Alan Pardew has been named the Premiership Manager of the Month for February.

The gaffer guided the Hammers to three successive wins over teams including Arsenal. 

"This is an award for the tremendous work that the team, squad and staff have put in - not just last month but throughout the season. We thank Barclays and it is an honour for the whole club," said Pardew. 

"I believe we have the best backroom staff in the country and this award is a reflection of that," added the manager. 

Kevin Nolan scooped up the Premiership Player of the Month award and it is the first time the Bolton star has won the award. 

"This is a great honour for me and the team. The players have been magnificent all season and this is just reward for the hard work the team has put in. It might have my name on the trophy, but it is the squad that has helped me win this prestigious award," said Nolan.
