Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has confirmed that defender Radhi Jaidi was in talks over a move to Birmingham, but said negotiations were "in their infancy".

The Tunisian defender, 30, was a regular for Wanderers last season and could join another former Reebok Stadium favourite, Bruno N'Gotty, at St Andrews. Allardyce told Sky Sports News: "There are talks on for Radhi at the moment. They're in their infancy, so we may see how that develops."

Blues have money to spend after the sales of Emile Heskey to Wigan and Jermaine Pennant to Liverpool.
