The treatment that David Beckham has received from the current England boss is nothing but shocking. Steve McClaren walked into the FA and decided to show his squad who is boss. Consequently he ended the career of England's most famous footballer. His Crime ? Well he is famous and is regarded as an icon of the game. Maybe the current England gaffer was afraid that Mr. Beckham was a bigger name then his?

McClaren has made a considerbale mistake. David Beckham, is a fine footballer who is playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world. He has the best right foot in the game and was one of the positive players for England during the World Cup in Germany. As Beckham's crossed and dead ball skills provieded the goals for England.

Becham's only crime is his fame. The fact is he should still be in the England squad at the very least. In contrast current boss Steve McClaren has disposed of one of the great England players over the last ten years. Amazingly David Becham has expressed his desire to still play for England in the future. Sadly for him this wish does not look likely as Mr. McClaren seems focused on moving on without Beckham. This seems so petty but Beckham must move forward himself and continue to play fine football for Real Madrid. He will go down in history as a good captain and footballer for Engalnd and there is nothing that Steve McClaren can do about that.
