Charlton Athletic striker Darren Bent has been selected to start up-front against Uruguay on Wednesday.
Bent will partner Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, who has been in phenomenal form again this season, scoring two goals in The Red Devil's 4-0 hammering of Wigan in the Carling Cup final on Sunday.
Darren Bent has scored 13 goals this season, making him the clubs top goal scorer and beat off competition from Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe to play in attack. 11 goals of his have come from inside the 18-yard box whilst the other two have come from inside the 6-yard box.
Bent's goals have helped Charlton so far this season, but The Addicks are still to close for comfort to say they are safe from relegation.
Meanwhile elsewhere in the starting line up, Paul Robinson will keep his place in goal, whilst Gary Neville and Wayne Bridge take up the full back's positions. John Terry and Rio Ferdinand will play in the heart of the defence.
Tottenham youngster Michael Carrick will start in centre midfield in place of Frank Lampard who has a hamstring injury, partnering Steven Gerrard. Joe Cole and David Beckham take up their positions on the left and right of midfield respectively.
Robert Green, David James, Luke Young, Wes Brown, Ledley King, Jamie Carragher, Jermaine Jenas, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Kieran Richardson, Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe all are not included in the starting eleven, but may have chance to shine if Eriksson uses any substitutes.
