Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce has insisted that he will not be distracted from his job of getting Bolton into the UEFA cup.

Goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen is the only player who looks to get a new deal before the summer, whereas Jay-Jay Okocha and Ivan Campo will have to wait.

"Jussi's has been a long drawn out affair that started last summer but I believe that's okay now, any other negotiations as far as I'm concerned will be left until the end of the season," said the Wanderers boss.

"I don't want any more distractions from the team, we are trying to win matches and push on to get a Uefa Cup spot and beyond if that's possible. Any negotiations at this stage of the season could distract a player's focus."

"I expect them to all go out and play their football and try and achieve results," added the gaffer.

However Allardyce also has the pressure of the possibility of being named the new England boss after Sven-Goran Eriksson departs in the summer. Steve McClaren is another prospect for the job and his Middlesbrough team face Bolton on Sunday.

"From my point of view and I'm sure from Steve's point of view it is not about the England position but about being the manager of Bolton and Middlesbrough," said Allardyce.
