Kirkland to miss rest of the season
It looks like West Brom goalie Chris Kirkland will have to miss the rest of the season after he broke a finger in a training ground accident. Kirkland has fractured the tip of his index finger and is probably unable to play for six weeks.
The 24-year-old is on a season-long loan from Liverpool and made 10 appearances for his team. Because of his injury it is very unlikely he will be selected for England’s World Cup squad.
