West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak says he will repay his teammates for costing the Baggies all three points against Tottenham on Monday night.
Kuszczak's fatal error led to Tottenham being awarded a penalty in the last minute of the game, which allowed Robbie Keane to convert.
"I appreciate that the team lost two points due to my mistake. Unfortunately goalkeepers get punished for their mistakes more than other players. I've made very few errors in my career," Kuszczak told the Birmingham Mail.
Kuszczak admitted that he thought he was playing well, up until that vital moment in the game, where all his confidence went crashing to the ground.
"Until the 88th minute I felt I'd played well but everyone remembers that one moment when it went wrong. It goes without saying that we were all devastated but not one person singled me out in the dressing room afterwards, I received total support."
The Pole also revealed that he must put that mistake to the back of his mind and concentrate on beating Liverpool on Saturday.
"I believe, apart from that one moment, I am in my best form and all I can do is concentrate on Saturday's match against Liverpool."
