Rangers fans chief Jim Templeton has urged the club to sanction the signing of up to three big name players this summer.
Templeton, president of the Rangers Supporters Assembly, has backed new manager Paul Le Guen to be a huge success next season.
But he believes his success could be measured by how much cash he is given to spend.
The Frenchman - who led Lyon to three consecutive championships before taking a year-long sabbatical from football - has already recruited the services of Chelsea youngster Dean Furman and former Austria Vienna midfielder Libor Sionko.
But Templeton insists the squad inherited from Alex McLeish is in need of a further injection of talent.
"I can't see there being as many dramatic changes over the summer as people might think," he said.
"I think quite a few players from the current squad will also remain at Rangers next season and the fact that he backs youth schemes is a good sign for the young boys at Murray Park.
