Peter Crouch has urged England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson to have faith in his World Cup partnership with Michael Owen.

Crouch is in hot form, with two goals in his last two England internationals, and hopes Eriksson will revert to a 4-4-2 formation against Jamaica at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Crouch said: "If the manager chooses to play us together, it would be great for me because it means I'm in the team, but it would be great for Michael as well. He's a top-class player and I'm sure he's going to get goals in the World Cup. I'll try and weigh in with my share as well."
