Nuno Gomes rummors denied
Speculation that Nuno Gomes could be on his way out of Benfica and arriving at West Ham has been denied.
Benfica's general director Jose Veiga insisted that there has not been any propositions for Nuno, including West Ham. Being an integral part of the Benfica team, Veiga also insisted that it would take a spectacular offer to tempt a sale.

"Until this moment we have not received any propositions for Nuno," said Veiga.
"He is a key player for our project for the next campaign and only a spectacular offer would change our decision about this subject.
"It is normal that clubs want the striker but today he is not in the market."
