Ruud van Nistelrooy has insisted there is no lingering row between himself and Cristiano Ronaldo as the pair get ready to face off in Sunday's mouth-watering World Cup last 16 game between Holland and Portugal. The Manchester United duo were reported as having had a training ground row at the end of last season, something which Portugal star Ronaldo recently brushed off as "a storm in a tea-cup". Now, contrary to the opinion of the masses, Holland striker van Nistelrooy has joined Ronaldo in claiming that the pair are good friends.
