Charlton boss Iain Dowie insisted his pre-season spending is not over yet despite Tuesday`s 4million double swoop for versatile defender Djimi Traore and midfielder Amdy Faye.
Traore, a Champions League winner with Liverpool in 2005, adds strength down the Charlton left, and midfielder Faye, who joins from Newcastle and has also signed a three-year contract. But Dowie is not finished yet.
He said: "We're delighted to have made two quality signings, and they will both improve our first-team squad. We're also working very hard on several other signings and we hope to be able to make further announcements soon."
