Former Bohemians boss Roddy Collins admits any ambitious manager would be crazy to turn down the opportunity to take up the challenge of taking the hotseat at the club.
Collins guided the Gypsies to a League and Cup double in 2001 before parting company with the club in acrimonious circumstances.
Having been sacked twice as manager of Carlisle United, he returned to football at the helm of Dublin City two years ago, before courting controversy once more when walking out on the Vikings to take over at relegation rivals Shamrock Rovers three weeks before the end of the 2004 season. "Whoever's offered the job it's a fantastic opportunity, and if they were offered it they'd be absolutely crazy to turn it down.
"I've made my intentions clear on what type of job I'd work to work in and obviously you'd want one with a lot of finance to take you to another level so it's a really attractive job for anyone.
"Anybody with half a brain that wants to work in football would look at an opportunity like that, and not only people in Ireland but a lot of people abroad because it is a fantastic opportunity."
