The Football Association of Wales (FAW) will launch a formal complaint against their counterparts from the Czech Republic following Saturday night's Euro 2008 Group D opener in Teplice.
Welsh manager John Toshack felt aggrieved at the decisions of the referee and his assistants, but the FAW's protest has little to do with officialdom, on the field at least.
With the sides tied at 1-1 towards the end of the game, the stadium's public address announcer used the tannoy system to spur the home fans to greater sound and fury.
The Czechs struck their winner within moments of the plea - which contravened Uefa regulations - and the visitors were angered by the manner in which the PA system was used.
An FAW spokesperson said: "We're not happy with this. We're told in no uncertain terms that this is not permitted at the Millennium Stadium, and nor is it permitted anywhere else for that matter.
"We will make a complaint, but we don't expect anything to come of it. The Czechs will probably be given a nominal fine."
