Garteh Farrelly moves to Leicester City
Former Bohemian player manager, Gareth Farrelly, is training with Leicester with a view of securing a contact with the Championship side. Gareth who has much experience in his career thus far is ambitious to continue playing at a high level. Indeed it could be argued that Steven Staunton, should call on the services of the former International. As the Irish side are losing players every day as they face a tough week playing Cyprus and the Czech Republic. City assistant manager Mike Stowell today confirmed that former Republic of Ireland international midfielder Gareth Farrelly is currently training with the Foxes.
And Stowell confirmed that they would be taking a good look at the duo during the international break.
He said: "Gareth has had spells at Bolton, Everton and Wigan and he now just wants to play football again. We know he is a good player and we will take a look at him.
"He is a non-contract player and he wants to do some work and get fit. He wants to see where he is.
