Dundee United forward Noel Hunt is determined to become more prolific in front of goal after his match-winning strike against St Mirren.
Hunt admitted it was rare for him to score with a close-range header as he is better known for spectacular strikes. But the former Dunfermline striker believes that extra training with first-team coach Tony Docherty will help him net many more times this season.
He said: "I haven't scored any scrappy goals in the six months I have been here, but I have been working hard on my game inside the six-yard box so I can pick up on scraps and read the play better. A lot of credit must go to Tony Docherty because he has been getting on at me and saying I can't just be a scorer of good goals, rather I have to be a good scorer of goals."
