Carlos Tevez has apologised to West Ham for storming out of Upton Park in response to his substitution during the 1-0 victory over Sheffield United.
Tevez was replaced by Teddy Sheringham in the 67th minute of Saturday's Barclays Premiership match and reacted by stalking down the tunnel and leaving the ground before the final whistle, in a clear breach of club discipline which infuriated Hammers boss Alan Pardew.
Tevez said: "I would just like to say that I left the ground in anger on Saturday. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision, which I regretted almost straightaway."
