Van Nistelrooy: Beckham happy at Real
Ruud van Nistelrooy believes David Beckham will do "everything possible" to get back into the first team at Real Madrid.
Beckham has found himself limited largely to substitute appearances this season under new coach Fabio Capello, and admitted recently it was a frustrating time for him. However, the former England captain, who is in negotiations over a new contract at the Bernabeu, on Monday insisted he wanted to stay to win his starting spot back.
And when asked on Thursday if he thought Beckham was unhappy, Van Nistelrooy insisted his former team-mate at Manchester United was committed 100% to getting back into the team. He said: "I do not believe that he is frustrated, he is not happy because he wants to play more. He will do everything possible to play more minutes."
