Former Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr could be on his way to India. Kerr has been out of football since his sacking as Irish manager. As his future as Ireland boss was sealed when he failed to qualify for the this summers world cup finals. However his man management skills were impressive in regard to the Roy Keane scandal. As the Dublin born Kerr managed to bring Keane back into the Irish squad. He made clear his desire to stay in international management, and applied for the South African job earlier this year.
And India is the latest country to be considering an application from the affable Dubliner, with Kerr said to be among a ten-strong list of candidates from which a short-list of five will be selected for interview next week.
