Former Irish international and Charlton Athletic Captain Mark Kinsella has taken charge of relegated Walsall. The club has had a very poor season with two managers being dismissed in recent months. Paul Merson the former Arsenal player did i enjoy some good moments with the club as player manager but this season things did not work out for the Walsall.
The Saddlers were relegated to League Two following defeat at home to Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
And that sealed the fate of boss Kevan Broadhurst, who only took over at the Bescot Stadium in February after the departure of Paul Merson.
He will take charge of the team for the final two games of the season, and is sure to be a candidate for the permanent manager's job in the long term.
