Robben claims victimisation
Dutch winger Arjen Robben has claimed that he is being victimised by referees recently in the Premiership due to his reputation.
The 22-year-old revealed that he believes since the incident with Jose Reina, in the Liverpool match in February which saw the spanish keeper see red, he has been unfairly treated in decisions by officials.
"What has been said about me, it has been a circus." Robben told the Daily Express. "People can think what they want to think about me. But now it seems that when one person says something, everyone believes them." he said, "I assume that referees treat me the same as any other player, but sometimes I doubt if this really happens. It shouldn't be any different."
