Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse is desperate to stay with the reds. The French striker is determined to remain with Rafa and Liverpool after scoring in the FA cup final on Saturday. Since his multi-million pound move from Auxerre in 2004 the French striker has failed to fully convince on Merseyside, and has been continually linked with a return to his home country.

Although with the confirmation that Fowler is to remain at the club the odds on Cisse remaining look slim. As Rafa looks to add new fire power to his squad.
