New Rangers signing Libor Sionko will savour his Old Firm experience next season.

The Czech Republic international has agreed a three-year deal with the Light Blues to become new Ibrox manager Paul Le Guen's second signing after the arrival of Dean Furman from Chelsea last week.

The 29-year-old is now relishing the chance to help Gers regain the Scottish Premier League title from Celtic.

But, even after playing for Austria Vienna in derbies against Rapid, the midfielder admits they cannot compare to the battle of the Glasgow giants.

Sionko said: "I scored two goals for Austria Vienna against Rapid back in April when we won 3-1 and that was a key victory in our chase for the championship.
