Wigan defender Pascal Chimbonda is determined to leave Wigan this Summer. The right back was voted in the PFAI team of the season by his fellow players. The hard working defender will be a sought after addition to any premiership side. The French right back has been linked with Bayern Munich, Tottenham and Manchester United in recent weeks and could now get his wish of moving to a club higher up the football pyramid.

Following the transfer request, Wigan Chairman Dave Whelan stated that the player will not leave for less then 7 million.
