Ronaldo wants golden boot

Real Madrid and Brazil ace Ronaldo is hoping he can be the top scorer at this summers World Cup.

Ronaldo revealed that it would be nice to pass the all-time record, but it's not his main goal which is to win the World Cup.

At Real Madrid this season, Ronaldo hasn't had the most starts but he will be fresh and ready to take on the challenge of the World Cup and then return to Real Madrid with hopes that the fans will change their attitude over him, as he plans to stay.

"I want to be the top scorer in the World Cup and it would be nice to pass the all-time record," said Ronaldo.

"I hope it will happen, but it isn't my main goal, which is to win the World Cup. If I score more than three goals, I'll be happy.

"We don't worry ourselves with anything else, we only think about ourselves and the team.

"I have not played too much for Real Madrid but I will be ready. I would like the fans at the Bernabeu to change their attitude towards me. I'm planning to stay, as I'm happy in Madrid and want to be successful there."
