Ruud could leave this Summer
The rummor making the rounds is that Van Nistelrooy was demoted to the United bench as a test by Alex Ferguson. This came after two months of substandered performances. However it seems that Ferguson has not been impressed by the reaction and attitude of the Dutch striker and it seems that United will listen to offers for the hit man. It is a dramatic fall for the 29 year old striker who has scored over 150 goals for Manchester United. Ferguson had hoped that the omission would shock Van Nistelrooy out of his mid season malaise, but in contrast the reaction from Old Trafford is of disappointment with the players reaction.
