Toledo brands Beckham 'a coward'
Paraguay defender Delio Cesar Toledo has branded David Beckham a "coward" ahead of the World Cup clash between the two nations next month.
Toledo, who plays for Spanish side Real Zaragoza, has come up against the England captain on many occasions when Beckham has been playing for Real Madrid. And the 30-year-old Paraguayan, who is not guaranteed of starting the England game on June 10, claims that when the pair have met in Spain he has been less than impressed with Beckham's tackling ability.
"He is a coward, when a player goes in on him strongly, he jumps," Toledo told 730 AM Radio. "I had some problems with him in the Spanish league for that reason and now I don't have problem if I have to raise my leg to him."
