Wigan look to strenghten squad
Current Sunderland player Liam Lawerenc looks set to sign for Wigan Athletic. Lawrence has impressed on occasion in a dreadful season for the Black Cats in the Premiership.
The former Mansfield Town man has made 29 top flight appearances, scoring three goals - including memorable efforts in Sky Sports-televised encounters against Newcastle United and Chelsea.
The 24-year-old could be one of several departures from the Stadium of Light in the summer, and Wigan currently head the queue for his services.
