England were dire in todays second round fixture. Indeed they should have been a goal down early on as John Terry was caught cold, only for Ashley Cole to save his team mate. Nothing suggests that they will progress any further in this tournament. Sven is a lucky man, he clearly has no idea about his squad and who are his best players and indeed what is his favourite formation. How he justifed starting Carrick today is amazing, even more bizzare was moving Hargreves out of his favoured position after illustarting his worth to the Englsih side against Sweden. A worrying factor for England was that the South American side were very poor. Yet they seemed to make John Terry and co look very ordinary indeed. Just before the Beckham goal, Sven was brining on the lanky and awkward Liverpool striker Peter Crouch however once the goal was scored he changed his mind. This was clearly a sign that his formation was not working. Sven is a fraud and this has become clear throughout this tournament. Yet still no sign of Theo Walcott which also seems to suggest that the young Arsenal striker is not fit to wear the England Jersey. England will be sent packing very soon if there performances thus far are anything to go on.
