Cisse: Benitez told me to go

France international Djibril Cisse has accused Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez of forcing him out of Anfield.

Cisse, 24, will be loaned to Marseille in October after recovering from the broken leg which ruled him out of the World Cup.

And Cisse does not expect to be back at Liverpool while Benitez has any say in the matter. "It was a big surprise to me when I got a phone call from Benitez saying I should leave," Cisse told the News of the World. "He told me bluntly: 'There's no room for you here.' I was so upset because I don't want to leave Anfield."
